Hi everyone, Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

In July a group of crocodile-hugging, shark loving and stinger-baiting kitesurfing friends and I will be crossing the Torres Straits (Australia to Papua New Guinea) by kite alone.

- It's 280kms as the crow flies. given strong currnents, changing winds that isn't the way we will be going...

- It has never been done in full before (it was done in part a few years ago, not everyone made it....though thankfully everyone did make it back in one piece)

- There are an estimated 200,000 salt water crocs around Cape York

- I am the weakest link in the team, so I guess they will be coming for me!

We are bearing all the costs ourselves but will be aiming to raise $$$ for the McGrath Foundation, a breast cancer charity who sponsor breast care nurses - including providing scholarship for Torres Islanders to study.

Every dollar makes a difference and your donation will help the McGrath Foundation place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia, and to increase breast awareness in young Australian women. To date, we have placed 83 Breast Care Nurses across Australia, who together have helped support over 19,300 families experiencing breast cancer.

100% of all donations will be donated to the McGrath Foundation and you will automatically receive a tax-deductible receipt via email (AUS residents).
