This Year Thiess Have Set Their Sights On The McGrath Breast Cancer Foundation
We have Hit Our $15,000 Target - from Donations paid online, Cash & Pay Deduction from our Crew
It is estimated that in 2013, 14,940 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer.
Not all cases of Breast Cancer are found amoung women, infact approximately 130 men were diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2012.
Thiess have kindly purchased Pink & Navy Hi-Vis Shirts and Pink Crib Bags to be sold for our Fundraiser.
The Shirts will cost $50.00 each or 2 for $80.00 and the Crib Bags will cost $50.00 each.
All Proceeds from the purchase of any of these items will go directly to the McGrath Breast Cancer Foundation.
Every dollar makes a difference and your donation will help the McGrath Foundation place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia, and to increase breast awareness in young Australian women. To date, we have placed 84 Breast Care Nurses across Australia, who together have helped support over 19,300 families experiencing breast cancer.
100% of all donations will be donated to the McGrath Foundation and you will automatically receive a tax-deductible via email.
Thiess are also going to paint the counterweight of a digger pink to raise the awareness of Breast Cancer.
Our Slogan for the fundraiser is "KEEP ABREAST, TAKE THE TEST"

The McGrath Foundation raises money to fund McGrath Breast Care Nurses right across Australia and invest in their professional development to ensure people with breast cancer receive the highest standard of care.McGrath Breast Care Nurses are registered nurses specially trained to manage the care of people with breast cancer from diagnosis and throughout treatment.The Foundation currently funds 233 nurses who provide essential support for families by offering medical expertise, clinical care, and psychosocial support from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment - for free and without a referral.Breast cancer is the most diagnosed cancer for women in Australia and more than 20,000 people are diagnosed each year. With a rising rate of diagnosis, the need for more McGrath Breast Care Nurses continues to grow.Funding from the community helps ensure our nurses can continue providing free support to families impacted by breast cancer right across Australia.
