Torres Straits kite crossing
Story
On July 11 I am kiting across Torres Straits, from Australia to Papua New Guinea, in an attempt to raise 100k for the McGrath Foundation (breast cancer charity). The crew (consiting of ten of us from Sydney and a few from QLD) plan to take one week to complete the crossing, and if successful will be the first ever to have completed it! We will be navigating our way through an open sea of crocs and tiger sharks and will be camping under the stars on the various islands along the way.
We are training very hard and have put a huge amount of work into logisitics, in order to complete this adventure of a lifetime!
